POLYKOTE
POLYKOTE inks suit most flexographic printing machines produced in south East Asia that run at speeds between 10 to 100 metres per minute with efficient ink drying facilities. POLYKOTE inks exhibit very high gloss appearance that enhances the attractiveness of the printed stock. The printability is superb that even at high speed the inks print sharply with no t iling or filling-in on fine-lettering when thinned with Polykote solvent blend. The adhesion of ink on printed stock is excellent that it will not deteriorate on ageing. The prints are resistant to blocking even under pressure at room temperature for long periods. Furthermore the prints exhibit remarkable rub and mar resistance that can hardly be defaced. POLYKOTE inks are both compatible with the conventional rubber stereo and protopolymer printing plates. As for the consumption level, 1 KG of POLYKOTE ink before dilution is able to print 340 square meter of surface over PP or PE film (240,000 square inch/pound) in average.
POLYKOTE inks comply with RoHS, EN71-3, and ASTM F963-11, which are regulations on heavy metals content, and EC/REACH/CPSIA-108, which is regulation on 7-phthalates content.

POLYVURE
POLYVURE inks suit most rotogravure printing machines produced in Japan, Germany, South East Asia Countries, and China. POLYVURE inks perform uniformly in commercial multi-colour and run at wide range of speeds from 10 to 80 metres per minute. POLYVURE inks exhibit very high gloss appearance that enhances the attractiveness of the printed stock. The printability is superb that even at high speed the inks print sharply with no tailing or filling-in on fine-lettering when thinned with Polykote solvent blend. The adhesion of ink on printed stock is excellent that it will not deteriorate on ageing. The prints are resistant to blocking even under pressure at room temperature for long periods. Furthermore the prints exhibit remarkable rub and mar resistance that can hardly be defaced. POLYVURE inks enable printers to print with bare copper impression cylinder instead of the standard chromium plated ones, where plated cylinders are definitely more durable. As for the consumption level, 1 Kg of POLYVURE ink before dilution is able to print 170 square meter of surface over PP or PE film (120,000 square inch/pound) in average.
POLYVURE inks comply with RoHS, EN71-3, and ASTM F963-11, which are regulations on heavy metals content, and EC/REACH/CPSIA-108, which is regulation on 7-phthalates content.

THERMO-TRANSFER
THERMO-TRANSFER is a Hot Stamping ink formulated for substrates mainly made from ABS, Acrylics, High Impact Polystyrene, Vinyl , as well as paper. THERMO-TRANSFER ink is gravure-printed on polyester film, which is subsequently pressed between the heated metal stamps (normally 120ºC) and has a stereo surface against the substrates. In this case, the ink is in contact with the patterns on the raised portion of the metal stamps before it is transferred to the substrates. The hot stamping foil, which is made from polyester film, carries a series of coatings to be transferred. The first layer applied to the foil is a thin release coat. The second, third, or forth layers (as desired) are called tie or colour coats. The main function of the colour coat is to avoid hard abrasion. Aside from the colour coat, vacuum deposited aluminium coat can also be applied to give a metallic colour. The last layer in the foil is a special formulated heat-activated adhesive that stick the hot stamping foil with the substrates.
The main advantage of THERMO-TRANSFER is it goes through “dry” process (solvent free); therefore the substrate can be handled immediately after stamping. The whole gravure hot stamping process has a short dwell time. It is safe, convenient, and free from smearing. Furthermore, the short dwell time is also the reason why THERMO-TRANSFER is superb in definition.
